Registration forms will also be in advertisements for the Garage Sale that will be run in three issues of the Woodbury Bulletin 1-3 weeks before the entry cutoff date for the Sale.
The Garage Sale entry cut off date is noon on Saturday April 24, 2010. Completed registration forms with the $30 entry fee, payable to the Woodbury Lions Club, must be received by this date at the Associated Bank at 1835 Radio Drive. Registration forms to enter the Garage Sale will be accepted after noon on April 24, 2010 and late registrations will receive a Garage Sale sign, but very likely will not be entered into the Garage Sale directory.
Directories listing the Garage Sale locations and merchandise for sale may be purchased for $4.00 from 5:00-9:30 pm the day before the sale and also after 7:30 am on the days of the sale at the following locations: Kowalski’s Market, Rainbow Foods, Cub Foods, Woodbury BP, and at all Woodbury Kwik Trip, PDQ, Super America and Holiday Stations in Woodbury.
If you plan to sell food or beverages at the Garage Sale, you must pay a fee to obtain a Special Event License from the Washington County Department of Public Health and Environment. (651-430-6655)
If you have registered for the Garage Sale, your sign and a copy of the Garage Sale directory will be delivered to your house by Thursday evening before the sale. After the Sale, please leave the sign in the front of your house. It will be picked up between Saturday afternoon and Monday after the sale.
If you are having a Garage Sale, please park your cars in a neighbor’s driveway or away from your house to allow parking for the Garage Sale shoppers and to reduce street congestion during the sale.
If you are a Garage Sale shopper, please respect the neighborhoods you’re visiting by not parking on lawns, in driveways or double parking and restricting traffic flow.
