SCHOLARSHIPS
The Woodbury Lion’s motto is “We Serve”! This year, 2009, we
reviewed 35 scholarship applications from high school students living in our
community. We have awarded $9,000
in scholarships. We have a
lot to be proud of our recent graduates.
They are great students, they volunteer countless hours throughout our
community and they are ready for the next stage in their lives.
Nicholas Anderson graduated from the Math & Science Academy – plans to major in Architecture
at North Dakota State Univ
Talon Beck graduated from Woodbury H.S. – plans to major in Computer Science/ Mechanical
Engineering at the University of St Thomas
Patti Cavaleri graduated from the Math & Science Academy – plans to major in Applied
Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin
Michael Cody
graduated from Woodbury H.S. – plans to major in Computer Sciences at Mankato
State University
Joshua Olson
graduated from Hill Murray – plans to major in Pre Med at the College of Holy
Cross
Richard Wang
graduated from Woodbury H.S. – plans to major in Bio Medical Engineering at the
University of Southern Cal

Scholarship money comes from the Woodbury Lions
Garage Sale and Pancake Breakfast. We want to thank all of the people that were
a part of this year’s garage sale. When you sign up to be a part of the
Woodbury Lions Garage Sale, you are helping students in our community further
their education.
